hey guys and gals, starting my first dwc project already a few weeks into it and worked out a few bugs i had in my system. heres the specs 1 x 56 gal tote 8 x 6" net pots 1x 400w metal halide 12'x2'x7' grow area 1 x low gph pump to recirculate water 1x 20 watt air pump 2x giant air stones 1 x hanna ph, ec, ppm digital meter 1 x water filter connected to plumbing to fill tote container wrapped in R30 fiberglass insulation to prevent light leaking in and to keep warm/cool General hydroponic flora series nutrients. I started a SUPER SILVER HAZE OR A HIMILAIN GOLD feminmized in soil and will be growing that also i plan on growing them and training them with about 10-12 tops apiece untill 3' tall and scrog them with 700-800w of hps and cfl's pics the small white widow pictured on top is already 7 nodes tall and roots are about to come through the net pot, someone gave me 2 bag seed plants less than a month old which im flowering to determin the sex then will re-veg them if female, also have clones that im rooting now from my soil plant pictured on the bottom. as soon as i can i will get my 400w metal halide for vegging
UPDATE well thing have been going, my clones have rooted through the pots, but until now i have been hand watering them and one night i forgot and the roots that were exposed to the air died.... so then next day i bought some parts and now i have a drip system on a timer. some of the roots have hit the water, and the other day one of my seeds sprouted either a Super Silver Haze or a Hymilian Gold. I thought they werent going to go and suprise... Today i purchased a gal of each 3 part GH flora series, and started using the lucas formula at 1/2 strength. soon to have pics, also small spider mite problem, cant kill them with the pest strips like last time. leave me some feed back guys this is about to get intresting
well no feed back yet i guess the shitty title dont attract much attention, but Update spider mites killed my mother of my clones and 4 of my water plants including my white widow. caused me to tear apart their room and sanitize it and reconstruct it. for now i have moved my setup in a spare bedroom and put them in a flood and drain system under a 400w metal halide. the plants seem to be recovering. soon they can return to their own room.
