Is there a difference in nutrients when it comes to grow micro bloom from General Hydro and Advanced? Which one is better for DWC. Can you add extra additives like big bud and bug candy and get good results to either?
The two different brands are completely different. For one with advanced you don't need to ph. It also costs more. I use General Hydroponics for my NPK via the lucas formula. Just flora micro/bloom. Always feed twice as much bloom as micro whatever you feed. I don't use grow at all.
Bud Candy is a hydro friendly molasses substitute. It's for carb loading the res to encourage microbial growth and supply the plant with extra sugars. I use it. It's actually not that expensive compared to some of Advanced's products.
