DWC Help - first time home made system!

Discussion in 'Hydroponic Growing' started by Feudin, Jan 25, 2011.

  1. Hi I plan to create my own DWC system as it seems easier than Flood and Drain.

I have a few questions, will I need to change the water from time to time and add fresh nutrients? if so how often?

How many plants can I comfortably fit in 1 system?, I will use some kind of plastic container. Is it a case of how ever many I can fit in the tub or is there a general rule of thumb such as 1 plant per gallon of water etc..

Will I need to manually flood and drain it from time to time with fresh water / nutrients?

Also how do DWC systems compare to other hydro systems?

    Regards

  2. You are asking very general questions. Basically you're not going to get responses because the answer are very easy to find on here with a little searching.

  3. ^^^ what they said

It takes time and effort to make detailed how to's and stickies... Be courteous to your fellow members who put them together and read them. If you have questions afterwards we will be glad to help.
