DWC 400 watt HPS White Widow from clones

    This is my first grow journal of my first DWC grow. It uses my own clones.
    My home-made tent
    - Dimensions: 33”x33”x86”
    - Frame: 2”x2” SPF
    - Outside Walls: Coroplast
    - Inside Walls: Panda Cloth
    - Grow Medium: Deep Water Culture; 53 litre Rubbermaid tub; 8 sites; 2 airstones
    - Ballast: Light Energ Horticultural Products - Premium Switchable 400 Watt Ballast
    - Light: Hydrolux 400 watt HPS
    - Timer: Woods Outdoor 2 Outlet Programmable Digital Timer
    - Circulation Fan: 2 Speed 7" Personal Soft Blade Table Top Fan
    - Ventilation Fan: Squirrel-cage style fan
    - Filter: 4” Can-Filter

    Day 11 of Flower. When I lifted the lid, I noticed that the water level was down considerably. I added 10 litres of water, nutes and Cal-Mag+. I didn’t feel that there was a need to encourage root growth, so I didn’t add any Rhizo Blast.

    I had to cut through roots to separate 2 plants so that I could move 1 plant to a corner site. I did this to allow for better light penetration. I may not be done.

    One plant is a bit behind in growth. I may take it out of flower and put it back in veg to use as a new mother.

    This is the most vigorous growth I’ve ever had. If things continue like this, my first DWC grow will be a major success.

    Harvest:
    350 grams or 12.5 oz. That works out to .875 grams / watt for my first DWC grow. I'm happy with the results.
