15-Year-Old Sentenced For Murder Over Facebook Posts We all know that The Netherlands is lenient on bud but who'd have guessed they'd also be so lenient on premeditated murder? Is this fucking insane or what?
All three of them should be in prison for at least like ten years. That's fucking sad, I feel horrible for that girls family.
lol honestly i don't think anyone should be locked up in jail like an animal for more then 5 years at max, that is just inhumane, if they said they were locking me up for like 15 years, i would try to break out an unimaginable amount of times immediately, and if i failed, i would just commit suicide, i ain't spending that much time locked up in a cage
pay for what? there is something wrong with people like that and putting em away for that long of time isnt helping anything, either a kill them or b get them some help
It's very beneficial to society, rapists and murders tend to commit more rapes or murders when they're allowed free roam of the streets.

I really dont think its cruel at all considering what they have done, and that being said, i feel like itd work into some type of population control, while also if the law was instant death for some crimes as killing or raping humans, maybe people would think twice about doing so, less crime, less people in prison, more money for our taxes to pay for schooling which is shit atm which leads to better education and maybe overall less murders going on. idk ??
He's only 15, got the rest of his life ahead of him. Imo one year is still alittle bit to short maybe like 2 years. Murders made out to be like such a big deal when its really not.

yeah but how much is the death penalty actually used? it takes such a long ass time for people who are in prison to go through the death penalty, you dont even gota think about it, could take up to 10, 20 years even if you are sentenced to the death penalty..
Why would the potential of being locked up for a couple of decades before being executed make any difference? If anything, that's more intimidating than the possibility of being put to death directly after trial.
