I know it probably will because no one dos it but can someone explain why if the clones wouldn’t be any taller than the older pots? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I don't know how you can 'waste light' if you have plants receiving it...? Are you ready to flower those clones ? And have room for growth in the space ?
I’m playing off of the idea that less plants per grow space equals bigger yield. I’m just trying to figure out if it would be a waste to let clones out on the floor at the last minute like foliage Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
What equals bigger yields,is filling your lighted space with plants, however you want to fill it,without overcrowding it... With fewer plants, though, you can train them better to fill the space, and do just as good...
Ahh, as in you want to flower the clones along side them cos you haven't filled the footprint of the light and want to know if it'd be worth it or a waste of clones. Post a pic of the space, it's probably a better idea to just train the existing plants. I'm a less is more kinda dude too. Flowering small clones is a hit or a miss. Seen plenty guys do it well and plenty guys waste their time. Post a pic though and let's see what you've got
Thanks! Everything’s not set up yet. Just planning ahead. I like to obsess about this kinda stuff Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Idealy you want the canopy to cover the space, absorbing all the light but if that's not the case there is no harm in putting small clone under the flowering plant just consider that A) there wont be a lot of light for the clone and being in the shade can trigger shade avoidens AKA stretchy lanky plants. and B) placing clones under flowering plants will trigger flower in them as well (because they will get the same light schedule) so if you had plans to veg these clones that's counter productive.
