Dummie question about vegitation

Ok, I've been browsing a little and I'm really just looking for a simple anwser if the community would.

Q: What's a normal veg period? (Lighting 12/12 or 24/0?)
Q: Does it make a big enough from starting with MH then switch to HPS?
Q: When is the final stages of flowering?

Sorry guys having a lazy day, normally I'd locate what I'm looking. Thanks for the feedback.

Q: What's a normal veg period? (Lighting 12/12 or 24/0?) Depends, indoors or out? Some folks will sprout a seed indoors, starting from 12/12 and into flowering in 3-4 weeks, but it'll probably be small. Average, maybe 4-6 weeks of 18/0 lights.
Q: Does it make a big enough from starting with MH then switch to HPS? Never used MH, I veg under floro tubes, 4 ft and 2 ft, then flower under HPS
Q: When is the final stages of flowering? Wow, these are really hard set stages or times for any of these questions, way to many variables. Best is averages, unless you're doing exactly the same grow time after time. Basically, it's finished when the trich's and pistols reach a certain stage for the buzz your want to achieve ( or medicinal value THC/CBD's). Most shoot for mostly cloudy trich's with 10-20% amber and the pistols have receded and browned. And that's the short version.
