So I have a wireless mouse and for some reason certain AA batteries are to big for the battery slot. Well I broke the connector that bridges the battery to the circuit. Well I found that I could cut a piece of metal paper clip down to a small side i could touch it to the battery and the metal connector And I got it to work. Is this dangerous? is there an more risk of overheating?
I have done pretty much the same thing with a component on my telescope using tape to tape and C type battery and it seemed to work fine. just wonderiing about using it on a wireless optical mouse.
Surprisingly not as dumb of a question as I thought it was going to be. And I got no idea bro I'd guess ur good
The paper clip should mach the surface area of the connectors to ensure safety, but even without it should be fine. It won't explode.
Yah I'm a computer technician and surprisingly I don't have much knowledge of mice (mouses ?). I guess if it worked, then bravo
I got my a+ certificate but have yet to get a job in the field, and that's not something they teach you in school. So far it seems to be working good.
