Duic

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by EnReeKay, Aug 12, 2012.

  1. Hello, everyone,

My apologies if this is in the wrong place, I just joined. Anyway, I have a preliminary hearing for a DUIC (ganja, obviously lol) a few months ago. Now I have my preliminary hearing and I'm nervous. I've been told I'm likely to get probation (It happened in a county in Pennsylvania). If I get sentenced with probation, when is my first drug test like to occur? Are they frequent? Are there any detoxification drinks that work without question? Any pertinent information is helpful.

    Thanks, all.

  2. This is off topic but does this happen a lot in pa?

I drove to Pittsburgh a few years ago and all through pa I saw signs that said " caution, high dui crash zone"

    Also Google is amazing :p

  3. I haven't met anyone who's gotten a DUIC, so it's not frequent, no; at least not to my knowledge.

Yeah, I tried googling a lot of thing, e.g. ways to trick the drug test, and I couldn't really find the answers I was looking for; so I figured I'd ask you guys who know best.

  4. Fair enough

I've never had probation so I can't help you. I wish you luck though

  5. i have family in Pittsburgh & from what he has told me the cops up there a big time pricks.

but then again my uncle is a big time prick.

so its possible the police would go out of their way to pull you over.

  6. Well, I got a DUIC because I got into a really tragic accident, in which afterward I had to go to rehabilitation for 3 weeks to learn to walk again. Thing is, I wasn't even high when I crashed. They took a blood test in the hospital and found THC from the past week. Also, I had smoked at around noon that day and this accident happened after midnight. But that's beside the point.

    Thanks HBG.

I've only ever been pulled over 3 times for speeding and got off without repercussions each time. Then again, I had my girlfriend at the time in the car with me in each situation, so I think the cops didn't want to embarrass me in front of her. Either way, it makes me think cops aren't really that bad in Pennsylvania.

  7. God damn man I hope you're ok now. That sounds like some trumped up bullshit though, you couldn't fight it?

  8. damn man sorry to hear about your accident.
i would just take whatever the court throws at you, as you survived.

classes for a few months isn't that bad.

hope everything works out for you though

  9. Thanks, guys; and yes I made a full recovery. I'm just worried because I tired smoking pot for the first time in four months yesterday because I was told there were ways to cheat the test, i.e. taking niacin, b-supplements, exercising heavily, detox drinks, etc., so that's what I'm truly worried about: failing my first test. I'm really not worried about the community service, classes or anything like that. It's being worse off than I am criminally that makes me anxious.

  10. Niacin works I think. That's what my buddies recruiter told him to take to pass his test. It takes a few weeks though and it makes your skin itch he said

  11. I talked to my lawyer and he said that drug cases are basically a yes/no question in Pennsylvania: did he have any controlled substance in his system? In almost all cases if a person chooses to fight the charges against him/her and the answer is yes then the judge will decide you're guilty. It is trumped up, but that's the law.

Wow man thanks for reminding me never to drive in pa.

  13. Haha yeah, stay the hell out of here. Pennsyltuckey'll screw you over for sure. I think the reason they're gonna punish me despite my injury is to make an example out of me: "This kid got really badly injured and we're STILL punishing him. Don't abuse marijuana."
