  1. So I had this sweet idea just now when I was messing on my laptop..

fuck a keyboard, and fuck not having a touchscreen monitor.

it would be so awesome to be able to play with your windows and play games while on your laptop...

    So I googled it..

    and wtf do I find..

I want to make one of these...

How hard do you think it would be?

It doesnt seem like it would be too difficult..

I could modify an old laptop by taking out the old screen and keyboard...

    ideas? Comments? Concerns?

  2. and what if... get this.. you made a little sliding sleeve out of this paper..

and your laptop has a bluetooth connection to the dual-screen sleeve..

When the sleeve is slid over your laptop, your old screen shuts off and the two panels light up..

Thus turning your regular laptop, into a dual panel touchscreen laptop..

  3. or you could always have it connect via firewire :)

  4. Talk much lol?

  5. i guess no one liked my idea..

  6. Ha it was cool

  7. Woah dude... you have to chill a bit.

Think things through before you post so that you can get all your thoughts into that first post. It keeps you from looking a little weird, and weird isn't always good for getting people to answer you.

Assuming you could get this to work, it probably wouldn't be nearly as handy as you think.

Plus, typing on a hard surface can be very uncomfortable. Still, if you want to give it a shot, go for it.

  8. I'd say it would be surprisingly difficult to do yourself, and not worth the effort IMO.

But anyway, regarding the electronic ink: electronic ink is slow and it has very poor color which makes it a poor choice for this application.

But it's good that you're creative. Keep thinking like that ;)
