DT Guideline Question (Haven't seen this one answered before)

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by arewenotmen, May 14, 2011.

  1. I've read most of the "will I pass?" threads, but the answers always seem to be the same: if you smoke once or twice a week, you can be clean sooner than if you smoke everyday. But what I want to know is, what do people mean by "smoke every day"? I feel like there would be a bit of a difference between smoking a couple of hits a day and smoking > a gram in one day. How much do you think of when you hear "Daily smoking can lead to detox times of almost a month"?

I'm only asking because I've gotten an offer for a pretty good paid internship this summer, and I might have to test for it within the next few weeks. I smoke 4-5 times a week, but I have an incredibly low tolerance, so I smoke maybe a gram to a g and a half over that week. Pretty much, I've had an 8th in the past 3 weeks. Is this similar to smoking an 8th at once? (I know it wouldn't be exactly the same, since you're still adding small amounts of THC over time instead of all at once and having it start breaking down immediately.)

    Just wondering.

  2. I wouldn't consider you a 'heavy' weed smoker in my opinion so you should be ok.

Any internship i've done hasn't piss tested me. But you know your situation better than me. Good luck:smoke:
