Hey y’all! I’m growing white widow in a space bucket. I’m on day 57 of flower today. Yesterday I noticed two bananas poking out so I pulled them off. Today I checked and had about 6 bananas between three buds! I’ve received many different options on harvest from she’s ready now to you have three more weeks to go. It’s my first grow. I have a jewelers lope and have attached a trichome picture! Thank you for the help!
I would say you have gotten different opinions because you are right in the window. You will be fine if you cut it down today or in a couple weeks. Imo it would be best just to take it down now since you are seeing nanners. But a pic of the whole plant would help solidify that she can come down any time now.
Hey thanks for the reply! I’ll get another album up momentarily that shows the entire plant from different angles. About two weeks ago I had bad nute burn, as you can tell. So she was definitely a lot more healthy before I almost killed her lol. PPM meter is now in use. Yesterday I did feed with a light amount of nutrients 140ppm. It was the first nutrient feeding after I flushed it and watered for two weeks. Ppm reading of run off yesterday was 598.
Thanks for checking it out! I may not have time this weekend but I’ll chop early next week then! I’m excited to chop and dry it out. Just am nervous on doing it premature.
Form when the seed went in soil until I flipped to a 12/12 schedule was 34days. Mind you I’m growing in a 5 gallon space bucket with spacers.
I haven’t Chopped her yet but check trichomes today and took some more pics. I feel as if she is progressing pretty quick even over a day or two.
A little update! I cut the plant at the base and removed some sugar leaves and all the fan leaves, after 38 hours of darkness and hung it inside my spacebucket. It’s been drying for 3.5 days now. Buds are feeling dry to the touch but small stems aren’t snapping off but most do snap instead of bend. My main stems have flex still. I just have my exhaust fan on with no intake. It’s a little hotter than I’d prefer but my Temps are around 71-76 and humidity between 40 % and 60% with an average of 50%. I cut some of the smaller stems off and jarred it to test the humidity and such, debating on doing the entire plant later. I put the 4 main thicker colas back into the bucket to see if it will dry out a bit more. I’m concerned about putting it in to early but I really don’t want to dry it out to much. I do have some 62% packs I’ll use for storage. Since I’m just vaping it I am going to leave most the sugar leaves on after drying. I did vape some sugar leaves I dry trimmed off with my Dynavap they definitely have an effect lol. Wanted to give that a test drive. [WW Drying ]()
