So I want to use a unused bathroom in my basement for my drying room. It's about 4x4, the door shuts pretty tight although I'm sure some air flows in and out. temps are pretty steady 70° +/- 5° and humidity is about the same 70° +/- 5°. I planned on putting a 4 inch inline fan connected to a carbon filter in the room to control odor. Problem is I have no way to vent it. Theres no ceiling fan drawing air out and cutting a hole to vent the inline fan and carbon filter out of the room unfortunately is not an option. Will the inline fan and carbon filter just filtering the air and recirculating it in the room control the odor? Thanks for any and all imput!
It should be good. I have my carbon filter standing up on it's side and is recirculating in the grow closet and is maintaining the odor well. I think it would be a similar situation. Just monitor the humidity to see if it's too moist cause it won't dry properly.
thanks for the response! i kind of figured it would work but i wanted a second opinion. if the humidity creeps up too much i have a dehumidifier i can put in there.
