I just found 2 lighters in my washing machine, as you can imaging their both pretty wet. I was wondering if I should just let them dry out or can I use like a blow dryer to dry them? soz for the wrong forum I thought I was in apprentence tokers.
You can't get a paper towel under the wheel, but I just tried using a hairdryer and it worked, except only one of the lighters spark I guess the other one has a broken flint.
Usually you can dry off Bics or similar lighters by grinding the striker wheel backwards (push forward) and then wiping the gunk off your thumb repeatedly until it comes dry.
Just try drying them off with a hairdryer and paper towels. If it sparks, it will probably work. Just be patient and keep trying.
If you have another lighter(that works) you can try holding the flame under the wheel part..but not for to long..just couple seconds then flick it and repeat until it starts sparking again
