If I set my 5x5 tent to say 55%RH and hung up my bud to dry in one of those collapsible screen things while lights are still cycling and other girls are finishing off their flower will that work? I’m trying to find the best way to dry the bud and I don’t have enough room for a second tent. I’ve seen the Wedryer device and it looks ok but I’m not sure if that’s better than the idea above. Once dry, I plan on doing the normal mason jar burp cure thing.
Most growers would recommend against exposing flower or even recently harvested plants to light. THC degrades in light.
my tent is in my office that I work out of during the day I dry and 70 degrees 70% rh for 7 days with the lights on during the day using a hanging herb basket thing and they turn out fine
Controversial light damage. I've seen high end storage rooms where they only go in with a flashlight. Others say studies don't confirm. If it was me, I'd cover my buds from the light when it was on with something simple like a paper towel or a straw mat.
