drying in a paper bag

  1. Since I cant dry my stuff inside and outside im worried about bugs/animals/mold, I came up with the idea. I was going to put my buds in a paper bag and put them into my trunk. Seeing as its cold outside in my area should this be an ok method?
Even if it does heat up a little shouldnt it be ok?

  2. umm yah im pretty sure it would if you open your trunk a few times but i hope you know smell travels and if a cop stops you and smells that he has every right to arrest and search you and your car.

  3. that's not a good idea. even in cold weather, a sunny day can heat up a cars trunk. at night it would prob. get too cold too. light and heat are the enemy of you trichs. too cold is bad too.

  4. Bag drying increases possibility of mold and should only be done when hang drying is not an option or if you live in an arid climate. ... and definately not in the trunk of your car for reasons already mentioned.

Manicuring buds first and not overloading the bags decreases likelyhood of mold.

  5. I think that is the DUMBEST idea I have ever heard. No, never carry bud in your car. The most likely time ever to have your property searched. Do NOT DO IT!!

  6. I realise, Spanish, you may not be familiar with the phenomenon, but before we call the idea 'dumb' we should consider the possibility that the 'car' swiftymc is speaking of could be one of those glorified lawn ornaments / neighborhood horrors that never leave the front lawns of a certain type of North American individual until sold (for scrap) or they move. ... He could just be a redneck with a 'quality' American vehicle lying around.
