I've always followed the old timer law of drying and it's never failed me, 70F 70% RH for 7 days, I live in the northern part of the UP of Michigan and it's always humid here, have strange ass weather this year and it's looking like I may have to move all the outdoor crop inside for a week or two just to finish it. But sounds like your box setup is within the guidelines for drying. I know doing the boxes in the past we had the inlet fan on the bottom and the outlet fan on the top, seemed to move the air the best that way.
What Factors a Cause an "Earth" Smell What does curing your bud do? Getting a good dry falls somewhere in between wet enough to mold and to dry and smokes like liquid fire. This is how I get it done in the very hot and dry southwest USA. BNW
Hello no fans arent blowing direct into fan here is a pic the red one is blowing air out black one blowing air in. Sent from my BLA-L29 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
25C is fine. A little cooler would help, but no dramas. If the humidity is staying at 50 or a little higher you should be set. Cool setup with the fans in the cardboard. Zero airflow hitting the buds or just a little bit? You're giving me ideas to do something like this but on a slightly larger scale. I've got some 120 fans I could use up.
Might be too much air flow though. Day 3 they should still have some squish and moisture to the insides of the buds, how do they feel? Soft at all or hard? Should still be soft and stems should still fold over. Can aways munch a stem to get an idea of how much moisture is in it.
This was my first thought.....id say you could definitely get by with just one fan....either in or out....and let that air exchange bring in air from the other side....with no fan.
They still feel soft and has some moistrr inside but they fell allitle bit dryer dan before harvest, and yes fans arent blowing ito the buds maybe just a little bit to the biggest one who hangs the lowest Sent from my BLA-L29 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Sounds good to me, you don't want them crispy dry yet, but they should have lost a fair bit of moisture, first few days you should be losing the most.
