Drying Bubble hash?

Discussion in 'Cannabis Stash Showcase & Strain Photos' started by JohnnyFrisco420, Dec 26, 2019.

  1. What’s your method of drying bubble hash ?

Today I made my first batch of bubble hash and I just have it on a pressing screen on cardboard in the dark right now ; I’m wondering if there is a better way to be doing this ...?

  2. It dries fast. Not really much of a way to impeove on it

  3. Let us know how it is!

  4. You can micro plane it onto cardboard.

  5. It’s really good ; I’m very happy with the results . Took a small sample from the 120 bag; took one hit now I’m stoned off my ass.

  6. I’ve heard of this but is it any better than just letting it dry ? Like what are the pros of doing this verses say just letting it dry on a 25 micron screen in clumps .

  7. No difference brotha! Did you use those bubblebags and water? I've made dry ice hash, never wet hash like you did, I'm curious to see if any different.

Nice being stoned haha! I'm to the point where I'm smoking a bowl of hash every hour nto medicate o doubt. Definite break coming up.

  8. I’ve heard them say they could mold on the inside from not drying fast enough. Frenchy on YouTube is the master to watch.

I’ve made bubble once and kind of a hassle. I do the dry ice and then press it with jar of hot water on parchment.

  10. Is there hassle pressing? I have a thing of dry ice hash I found if I pile it in these tiny little silicone container, I can smush hash down into a 3g puck lol. Using finger compress. Once bubble dries, what's the real difference between dry ice and bub?

  11. I'd break up those clumps a little more so it'll dry faster. You could also put a paper towel over the cardboard and replace it as it gets damp.

  12. Broke up the clumps a little more ;

It’s really sticky lol will it get less sticky as it drys ?

  13. Maybe, maybe not. I've made bubble that stuck to my fingers like hash oil. I prefer it to be more easily handled.

Dry Ice Kief done with a sawzall and a 160 micron mesh.

The biggest difference is no drying needed for the DI method.
It's ready to use right away.

  15. Ya it’s a little hassle.

The difference to me is dry ice is basically kief.

Bubble is hash in its end form.

I’m not sure but I don’t think the Moroccan and Afghan hash is made with bags and water.

It’s beaten over big drums and then pressed.

I like dry ice for simplicity like brass said. And I use mostly edibles also but pressing it makes it easier to carry I guess.

However you like it is best. I like dry ice for buds and water hash for the worst because the plant material is captured better in the bubble and beaten to nothing with dry ice.

  16. It's really hard and time consuming to make shaken kief as pure as full melt bubble. Shaken kief has a lot more of those broken cystolith hairs than bubble does and they make the smoke more harsh. Shaken kief also doesn't melt the same as bubble hash does, not that melting affects the smoke, it's just an indicator of pureness. The only thing I can think of that's more potent than bubble hash is oil.

  17. When I do my dry ice I shake the first two times very gently to not get as much plant material. It’s definitely not full melt. Maybe with dry sift screens from a print shop.

I’d like a washing machine for my hash one day!
