Dry weed

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by The Botanist, Oct 25, 2014.

  1. The weed I get is usually on the dry side and it burns too fast. You know how the stem is supposed to snap when broken? Well the bud does that too

I feel like I don't that much from it - as in, I don't come close to coughing from a large bowl. With resin this isn't an issue, so it's not like I've reached complete immunity.

Is there any way to moisten that shit up a little? All i've got so far is putting mary in a plastic bag with some damp napkins.

Is this a common issue or is the consensus, "fuck it, smoke more"?

3 drops of water in as baggie load. Some will say thats a no no but Iv processed many a pound so I do know.

We used to steam pressed pounds and kilos to fluff the buds and they smoke much better afterwards. you can put buds in a screen strainer and hold it over a pan of boiling water and steam the buds.

  3. dry flower comes from poor storage or poor curing..

assuming the flower doesn't look like poop, it's most likely your cannabis proprietor isn't too picky on storage.

if anything, I say grind all of it up.

  4. What about the orange peel method?

  5. Mason jar, put weed in, take a q-tip, cut in half and tape to inside of lid.  Dip q-tip in water and seal jar.  Smoke as needed, moisten as needed.

Never would dare try the orange peel method due to molding probability.

  6. Never heard of using a q tip like that thanks for the tip.

  7. Basically a homemade humidity pack, can't remember where I learned that from, probably from a blade.  Works great.
