Sup GC, I have a little problem with my soil, whenever i water the water seems to go straight through all the soil and into the dish underneath, 20 minutes later and the soil is dry again . Im not keen on repotting but im thinking i should've mixed some soil from the garden with my potting mix. Anything i can add to the soil or something? Thanks
What is your soil mix? Sounds like crap soil and/or compacted too tightly. You could add perlite, also worm castings. Whatever you add sounds like you need to re-pot the plant and break up the soil it is going in.
No No i wouldnt say the soil is tightly packed, just doesnt absorb water all that much.. Im stuck, im in the pot i need to be for the rest of the grow.. problems problems..
If you use soil from the outside you need to sterilize it. Just go out and buy some decent potting soil that comes pre mixed with perlite vermiculite sphagnum peat moss bark etc. and NO NUTES. You can transplant back into the same pot.
