Can someone recommend a dry herb pen that's quite cheap? I've got a budget of £100 and I have no idea what I'm looking at, they all seem the same lol. Sent from my DUA-L22 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
are you wanting a simple portable smoking device with the convenience of electronics, or are you wanting it to vaporize your herb? lots of different products with lots of different gimmicks. the first step is to narrow down what you're actually looking for. what kind of features or aspects are you looking for besides a sub-£100 price range? :hmm:
If I'm honest I thought they all vaporized weed lol, all I want is a cheapish device that I can put some ground weed in, have a few hits on it and then once its finished with, use the weed for cooking, if I remember correctly the end product is basically decarbed weed if vaporized at the right temp? I'm not too fussed about battery life, I'll mainly be using it around home. I've been looking at the pulsar flow, looks awesome but not sure if it performs well lol. Xmax Starry, Flowermate, Boundless, Grindhouse Shift, Pax 2, Arizer Solo and Air, are a few I can think of in that price range. The only actual dry herb vape that is a pen style is a Flowermate Slick. Dont buy the cheap Chinese vapes off of Wish app or AliExpress they have toxic air paths because the oven melts the cheap plastic and electronics that they are made with...the oven and airpath aren't isolated either. Avoid APX, Grenco G pen, Airistech, Black Widow, Black Mamba, Mighty Chinese version, and other Chinese knockoff vapes. They are literally cancer and actually combust more than they vaporize. They sell to the ignorant and profit heavily at the expense of the consumers health. Arizer.com is having a sale right now, buy any vaporizer and get a free Air unit. I'd get the Solo 1 or 2 and the free Air...
Thanks I've had a look in the shops near me but they don't sale any of the ones you've mentioned, they sale the cheaper ones. One I have seen that looks pretty good is the vapir prima? Have you heard of this one? If not maybe I'll have to order online lol Sent from my DUA-L22 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
After reading some reviews over at fc, I'm gonna go with the vapir prima Sent from my DUA-L22 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Good luck. Make sure its a real one from an authorized seller that has a warranty. Those are usually a couple hundred. They are heavily reproduced knockoffs in China. I guess if FC can back the vape it's probably at least healthy. I'd look into something with more convection for faster extraction, especially if you're coming from smoking. Conduction vapes can take a while to fully extract a bowl during sesh. The Healthy Rips Fury is a good vape for a beginner imo. If you were to go conduction the Starry really is the best for budget . Hope you make a good choice!
Oh and if you want a Fury rebrand look for Grindhouse Shift on eBay..also Sutra Mini, Hippie Rebel, or Quant. You will be impressed for the price.
The Pax 2 is phenomenal. I have had it for about 8 months now. It runs $150 USD. I love it. I recently purchased a Firefly 2 and I haven't been able to get it to vape right. I think I am grinding up my bud too fine. That one is really price though at $230 USD. Good Luck!!
How would you tell if its a real one? They are selling them for £125 ($165 usd) new, is that too good to be true or? Lol Sent from my DUA-L22 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Salutations TreesAreGreen, That was my case too 8 years ago. Shared features like the "Release/Transfer Agent" ain't too hard to identify, learn to recognize "Hot Dry Air Ovenizers" among others as those can lead to abuse and even induce health issues if inappropriate to your personal situation. Indeed, at least this might help to change the priorities in your favour... By the way, are you aware that internet forums are crowded with self-serving "influencers" who find quite convenient to know where to find their future consumers to begin with?? Fake posts multiply, installed trolls and gurus infested every single system around long ago while forums as FC, VaporAssylum, VapeLife hire such socio-toxic individuals as moderators and administrators. Think of it, it's such a life-style "staff" as MomOfTheGoons on FC plain manipulated/re-assembled posts (including her own) in order to forge "infractions" over serious user security issues, for example... Etc., etc. Really, what's the value when people are quick to dishonour themselves in so many ways? So, stick around long enough to find out, wear a protection helmet or save your sanity avoiding impossible challenges while they'll do everything in their power to silence a worthy one... M'yeap! Making it sound like an elder venerating obsolete Windows XP junk will have you spotted early: it's only to play cards, or at most to check e-Mails once a week (after a 5 minutes boot procedure!), etc. But if you need a bridge to link to sides of a river i'm afraid half a bridge won't suffice, nor one that threatens to fall in the wind, etc., etc. Try to envision the problem then question your selected candidate solution. In the case of "Ovenizers", portable or otherwise, you'd be expecting that it works auto-magically to shuffle noble molecules with less-than-noble vegetal tissue all inside a same black box and pray for the best, turn up the heat until everything is equally soaked @ a thermostatic temperature (which only reflects past events) then suck the fumes... Never mind about differentiating between trichomes and near-wood fiber, whatsoever, on the contrary! Which only complicates if you were after some ex-smoker substitute supposed to be micro-miniature in portable form à la James Bond, trying to fix the wrong problem with poorly adapted solutions designed with the manufacturer in mind 1st, then commercially targeting consumer profiles you may fail to match. Good day, have fun!!
I don't really understand what you've just said, but I've ended up getting the vaporizer.. I've tested it with half a bowl of herb and now I feel great lol Sent from my DUA-L22 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
