Alright so my family friend (16 years old), asks me yesterday about getting a job and if he'd be drug tested. He smoked on that day and he was worried that he might get drug tested at this new job he's getting. He's already "hired" because apparently his coach vouched for him and shit, but he didn't hand in any forms yet. His job starts on the 6th and he's working as a lifeguard/aide within the school district for a program for special education kids. Normally, I'd say they don't drug test minors, especially in this community (Long Island, NY), but they want him to get a fingerprint at the school's office. Do you think he'll need to get a drug test? If so, what should I tell him to do? I remember 3 years ago when I was 16, I got a job at a camp that was working with the schools as well (but not the same exact job) as a lifeguard and I didn't need a drug test for that. What do you guys think?
