My friend just got a job at a store and they tested him before they hired him. He passed because he doesn't smoke anymore but he said it was hella easy to get the job and they are still hiring. So I want to get a job there but he explained the test and I have never heard of this kind. He said they gave him this thing that looked like a toothbrush with a spongy, peice of paper on the end and they made him rub it inside his mouth on his gums and the inside of his cheek with it for like 3 minutes. So I was wondering if anyone knows about these test and how far back can they detect weed? I have been clean for alittle over 2 weeks. He also said they said they send them away to some lab for results. Do you think I would pass it? Is there a way to pass the test if you are not clean or trick the test some how? Anyone have any info about these test?
the store is Fred Myers - I don't think they have them everywhere but its like a big Target or Wal Mart combined with a grocery store.
Nope, theres no way you can trick the test really. The mucusmembranes inside of your mouth hold on to all types of chemicals, and hold on to THC very strongly. I forget how long it takes for the THC to be depleted from the mucusmembranes.
I'm not 100% sure or anything but i got tested like that before for a job and if youve been clean for 2 weeks like you said i'm pretty sure you will pass. THC is stored in fat so I don't think it would stay in your mouth long at all. That's just my opinion, plus I've heard these type of tests are not as effective as say a piss test. Again not positive though.
