I wish I was Golden, after all I went through to clean and rid my hair of THC. Still waiting for results. I pray to God Almighty I pass. Please for me too if you can, thx.

 

Back again still haven’t heard anything, still worried. For those who did get positive for THC results, how long did it take for your MRO to contact you? Tomorrow would make 6 days since my test and I’m thinking if I haven’t heard from the MRO I maybe in the clear.

What is an MRO?

 

Medical Review Officer. I’ve heard on other forums that they call you if you test positive to see if you’re taking any meds that can cause a false positive.

I didn't think they did that anymore because you have to disclose that information before taking the test. Hell, if they call tell them it is the CBD oil.

 

Ok so back story- got a great job offer and accepted. Had to test less than a week later. Was only about 2 weeks clean and a regular but not heavy smoker (about 2gs a week, tall skinny female). Testing faint lines on home tests so didn’t wanna risk it. Got urine from a female friend I know was clean (besides she was on an antibiotic about a week earlier??). Kept in in the fridge for about 12 hours. Did heat it up once to practice temp but then right back into fridge. Drank tons of water and did a cleanse in the days leading up to it just Incase, the morning of the test my piss was definitely passing home tests but rly light in color. Went at 8 am and got the clean urine in at the right temp but a low level so used a few drops of my own to get it to the right level. Literally like 2 seconds worth plus it was totally diluted. The lady checked the correct temp and sent it off. Not a split sample. A whole week later and the background check company said they haven’t received anything so to call the MRO and check status. The mro said they received it “recently” and it was in the lab and I’ll know by tomorrow. I asked why it would take so long since collection and she said it could’ve just taken a while getting there but I don’t buy that. Am I fucked? do ALL samples get sent to the MRO or just ones that initially tested positive? I am sick with anxiety.

 

Im not sure what an mro is but when i was on probation my po always said no matter how faint the line you still passed.

 

MRO is medical review officer .. person who examines the samples. I felt really confident about passing but now freaking out more that it’s taking over 7 days... everything I’ve read said negatives come back way quicker than that. Honestly don’t know how it would fail

 

Update- I passed. The lab was held up because the specimen was labeled incorrectly when they got it. So relieved. And officially parting ways with the MJ after smoking almost daily from years 18-24. Decided I can’t deal with the anxiety anymore. Good luck to everyone out there!

Update: I passed! Just got an email saying I’ve been cleared for hire!!

Hey guys I took a pre-employment UA that was pretty diluted (clear color)... however I'm pretty sure I was passing according to 15/ng home tests I took before and 2 hours after the exam. However, I still haven't heard anything back from the employer. It's been a week to date (5 business) and still no word? I'm getting worried that the negative-dilute may be construed as a negative. Prior to the test I was 5 weeks clean, but was in between passing and failing for home tests (depending on the time of day, dehydrated, etc...).

Does anyone have any advice what to do in this situation? I want to get back to normal life (aka start smoking again), but if the result is negative-dilute I don't want to risk a re-test after abstaining for so long (however my start date isn't for another month, adding further anxiety to the current situation). Has anyone dealt with a negative-dilute? What was your experience? This was a non-DOT test, fyi - so employers can interpret dilutes however they want (and I unfortunately don't have a copy of the employee handbook to see)

 

Also does anyone else find these tests harrasing? I mean pot shows up (in my case) 45+ days after the drug tests, but other [real] drugs are out within 2... so frustating...

Also i should add that I primarily use concentrates, which I believe was contributing to the longer lasting THC in urine... food for thought

- date of drug test - 9 days from now
- date of last time smoke - today 2 hits from bowl
- frequency of smoking (last 30 days) 2 hits last - 2 hits from bowl one week ago
- will i pass a drug test 9 days from now from smoking 2 hits out of a bowl last week, and 2 hits out of a bowl today. I drink half gal water a day and excercise for over an hour 4 days a week. Please let me know thank u

You're probably going to fail dude lol how long have you been smoking for? If it's regular you're looking at 90 days from what I've read lol

 

Ive smoked 2 hits last week and 2 hits (bowl hits) in a 1 year span lol
