wow i just started a thread about why dont the world learn from the dutch and then i seen this thread! i ve been lucky to be able to visit the netherlands numerus times and see there polices in practice for real and then have to come back to england!!!! and it pisses me off! to see our failing socitey and millions of £ wasted and to know that there is holland 55mins away!

no. that is precisely why they don't have enough prisoners to fill their prisons. like 70% of inmates are non-violent drug offenses.
If Arnold is serious about a debate and look at the effects on other countries that have legalized MJ,then i believe this evidence wins the debate for us hands down.I can't wait to hear the prohibitionists ad hoc excuse.They will likely claim the Netherlands has a lower crime rate,but a higher rate of mental illness per capita.
even if they did have a higer rate of mental illness they have auniverasl healthcare system thats 2nd to none!so even if they did u've a better chance of being cured! and from my excpirence the dutch want to help u with u problems rather than punish you! rehabilitation is number 1 not inprisonment in countrys like holland denmark sweden switzerland and even germany!
because the black market for drugs doesn't exist in the netherlands. legalize ALL drugs and what the hell are the gangs gonna do?
