I just started my 12 plants for next run. I'm gonna let them sprout. Then I'm gonna put them in my 2x2 tent for about 3 1/2 weeks. Till these get done. Then I'll transplant them into the 15 gallon pots. I sprouted Farmers Daughter, Blue Moonrocks, Bluedream, Terple, Ghost of Nyc, Purple Jellato, Wedding Cake x Animal Mints, Chem x Zombie Kush, Blue Sunset Sherb, Ice Cream Cake, Oreoz and Mac Burger! So should be a fun time. Multiple different seed companies. Got Humboldt seed org & Humboldt seed company. Also got Barney's Farm and In House Genetics. And the rest of the stuff is from Greybeards Private Label. In 15 gallon pots all BuildASoil Dirt and Amendments. Gonna be under 1100 True watts of LED.
All 12 plants are up. And I got them in my tent. So we're good to go! A few are already standing at attention lol. But i can see all the others breaking dirt too.
Went ahead and started 2 more Extra seeds. I had the Terple and the Farmers Daughter come out with the helmet head lol. So just in case they're mutants or are stunted bad. I have another backup Terple and a Fierce Animal. Cause the one Terple looks like it may be a mutant. So I may just cull it off if it is.
I think I found my 2nd light I'm gonna buy. I know most of you guys already have all the lights etc. That you want or need. I really have all i need. But i want more than 1150 watts of LED. I've researched quite a bit. And found this light while cheaper. Is way better than 99% of the High Dollar big name LED lights. And it's Half the price or less lol. The light is on sale at the moment too. It's only 450 bucks! The light I wanted was 900. And the 450 light is better. It's made by a company called Volt Grow. It's their Volt FL1 model light. It's 720 true watts for only 450?! Almost sounds to good to be true right? Well I've read a ton on it. And watched videos on YouTube. And it's 100% legit. Migro on YouTube "The LED Light Tester Guy". Tested it out and it's crazy good for the price. It's better than a Gavita 1700e LED light. Which goes for 1000-1200 bucks lol. I thought I'd share the love with you guys. Cause once the Sale is over the light goes back to 600 I'm pretty sure. Unless they dropped the price for good. Which is possible they did. Because I read that it's so cheap right now because of a Sale. But then read they dropped its price lol. So idk, but I'm just gonna bet it's just a sale. But even for 600 the light would be ridiculous.
Update on the plants. The 4 cups on the very far left were planted on Saturday. And are for my Outdoor Grow. So those won't be going in my indoor room. Everything else is going inside tho 14 out of the 18. I had that one runt I pulled and started a Orange Velvet Underground in its place. So it should break dirt soon. It's in the cup in the middle of the bunch. If you look close you'll see it's the only one without a plant in it lol. Besides the far left cups I mentioned. Which I see 3 of the 4 of those already breaking soil.
Ordered my Volt FL1 720W Led light just now! I'll report back with build quality etc... when it gets here.
Ok guys I'm just gonna run all these inside lol. Didn't realize the new light was that much bigger than my Optic Slim 600H Gen 2. It's 5" bigger both ways which is alot. I'm gonna run 12 in 15 gallon pots. And the other 6 in 7 gallon pots. I'm gonna do my own little mix for the soil on the 6 in the 7 gallon pots. I'll be aiming to transplant the bigger plants that were started alittle earlier by the the 9th of April in their final pots. I'd like to do them all by then. But i dont think a few of them will be ready. Since they were started over a week after the bigger ones. Everything is going good tho! Excited to see the Jungle lol.
Getting everything ready to go in the room for this big run. A problem I see a lot of newer growers make. Is the fact they don't keep their grow rooms clean. And then wonder why they get pests etc. I'm not hating, I'm just being honest. You gotta maintenance your shit lol. But I plan to transplant into the big pots either this weekend or next weekend. I'm gonna install my other light this weekend for sure. They'll veg for probably 4-5 weeks after the transplant. Then I'll flip between May 7th to the 14th. So I can chop before I go on vacation in July. Gonna wait on my other dirt to get here. Then I'll do the other 7 gallon pots. Should be here in a few days. Also the Build A Soil 1cuft bags say they hold 7.5 gallons of soil. But they actually have more. It only took 1.5 bags to fill a 15 gallon pot. Just incase any of you guys order from them in the future.
Went ahead and put 12 of the 18 in their 15 gallon pots. Left the 6 smallest ones in the solo cups. They'll be going in the 7 gallon pots in a few days.
Ahh Thanks man you're to kind. But honestly I'm blessed to have the space. And also many years of experience. I was raised around Cannabis my whole life. And it's just always been a passion of mine. If you ever need any help just holler at me anytime.
Everything is going really good with the ladies. They've grown alot since I transplanted a few days ago. Really excited for this run. They will all be really nice plants 4-5 weeks from now when I flip. The other 6 in my tent will be going in their bigger pots tomorrow. And my new light will be hung tomorrow too. I'm going to try and see if I can break the 5lb marker lol. This will definitely be my biggest harvest ever indoors. Excited to upgrade my room more over the next few months. They'll be 7-8 weeks from seed by the time I flip.
Moving toward establishing a dedicated mother from a mature and partially harvested plant so that my future clones are (in theory) female. I've managed to develop enough confidence in my ability to go through the process of cutting to rooting to bringing the new life to harvest so I'm finally getting my ducks in a row for the coming year. Not sure how long I can keep the revegged Mom productive so I may be forced to redo this at some point down the road. Suffering the disappointment of most of my clone experiments coming from indeterminate plants that revealed themselves as male which in turn proved that their clones were also male at least gave me the hands on to develop the patience to go through the process. During this learning curve I shifted the new males to a clandestine greenhouse along with another partially harvested female still in flower in the hope of generating fresh seeds as well. Offering a look at my frat house to show my fully mature males in all their glory. The spent female behind them was pulled down a few days ago and I'll find out in the next few weeks if any seeds produced are viable so that my short term plans for this year may include cuttings as well as new seed starts.
How long has the female plant been pollinated? Do you have a around about idea when she first got pollinated?
At this time I've got the unfortunate rehabilitation ongoing for my 90 year old mother crushing my focus; an attack of diverticulitis forced removal of about a foot of her colon and after nearly a month in hospital and after care the burden of getting her back to her routine falls on my brother and I (who have polar opposite approaches). Sadly, I've little command of specifics. I mainly post to these forums to give myself a frame of reference to unwind the ball of string that is my chaotic system. As far as the timeline of the gal offered for seed I would guess close to two months of short hours before the idea dawned on me to attempt seeding and then another five weeks or so in the bukkake party; as so, the bedraggled appearance she presented in the pin up photo. Due to fear of bringing pests in along with it I refused to bring it inside to more closely monitor it's drying but check every day or so to see if it feels similar those processed indoors. Like all my haphazard efforts, if this experiment fails I'll simply try again with another specimen as it presents the opportunity.
