In my flower tent the temp sits at 85f at the canopy. If I bought an inlet fan and ran dryer hose from the a/c vent to the fan and another from the fan to the tent will that create any issues? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Just worried about too much of a cool down I guess or anything I can’t think of Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Further more the cool air hitting it will cause a massive temp drop that will create moisture..... having this issue now myself with no a/c...... just the cold air around my buckets is enough to do it
I worried about that but so far it dropped the humidity by 4% and the canopy temp by 6f Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I run my room at 85 degrees in veg and around 90 in flower with not negative issues. However I have co2, which allows temps to be high. I think unless your plants are showing signs of heat stress and you have good circulation you’re worrying about nothing, as long as it’s not over 85. Also maybe next time set up your 12/12 so lights are off during day and that keeps temps down.
Idk, my tent is sitting around 88 lights on...... no issues thus far, but I also have the roots in 69 degree water......
I’m taking it you have no clue what you co2 ppm is. If it’s around 1000 you’re worrying about nothing.
If you’re just now worrying about the heat then it must not have been a problem in the past. Cool the room the tent is in then you should be fine. I still think if there’s no heat stress you’re just fine
Also most people run AC in their rooms/tents without issues. If AC fucked shit up, nobody would be using them. I have a split in mine.
I think it’ll be fine. Good experience at least. The room where it’s at is warmer than the rest of the house plus the door stays shut so air circulation from the a/c isn’t the greatest. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
