Droopy plant?

  1. My best friends uncles dog walkers cousin might start growing.

she asked what if her plant is droopy. Aiming down. and its about 2-3 weeks old. its not under watered, don't think its over watered. but the only change would be she lowered the light from 2 1/2 feet to 1 1/2 feet. it would be a 400w HPS .

did the lowering of the light or is it from high temps . 84-88 degrees also low humidity 30-40 %

  2. Pics or it's hard to say anything about it. Those temps are a bit high though. She wants to drop them to around 80 at most.

  3. use a water gauge thing. said the bottom was 10 wet but the top inch was dry 0

  4. Dunno, could be heat.

  5. that pic def looks like a watering issue

test the weight of the pot by simply lifting it, you can feel when theyre dry

  6. don't know if the low humidity is causing that 'droop', but even if it's not, that's way too low for the humidity level anyway. That's the kind of level you want for drying the finished trimmed bud. A good rule of thumb for humidity levels is: 100%-90% for cuttings. Then once into the main system you want 90% for wk 1, then 80% wk 2 and so on reducing by 10% for each wk till you reach about 40%. By the time you're at that stage (assuming you're using an 8 wk strain) the bud's will be only a wk or 2 off from coming down so the humidity will be sufficently low so as to prevent and bud mould.

Hope that helps in some way in the future

  7. K thanks try and get humidity up by adding water in bowls under liight.
