i have several started, and some are looking ok but some are looking droopy. I water about 3-5 days with nothing added. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated THANKS
might be overwatering... might wanna wait till ur plants ask for water. dont be watering if your soil is still damp. also can be light deficiency, try giving it more lumens. they'll love it. and i'd also recommend givin it some nutes. simple General Hydroponics 3-part, grow, micro, and bloom. hoped i helped good growing and much luck
im not one to talk because im not very experianced. But if that is just plain potting soil i would reccomend a nice pro mix....or mix your soil with lots of vermiculite and perlite. like 1/2 soil 1/4 perlite 1/4 vermiculite..... a lady who owns a hydroponic store told me to not grow with plain soil and it looks like thats what you have...although i could be wrong....other then that i really am not experianced enough to give more advice. lol another thought i had is that maybe your soil has a PH level that is maybe too high or low? Im not sure hopfully someone else can help. g/l though
yes alvin could be correct. I hear most people make the mistake of over watering. the roots cannot get a chance to breathe. my other little opinion would be to wait til the soil is almost completely dry. I have 3 babies right now and they look very healthy. I water and wait til the soil is crackling dry. there doing good.
i can't really do the hole finger checking the soil deal, cause the soil i am using pretty much crumbles when i start putting my finger in to check. so i pretty much check by weight of the pot. I am using 3- 4ft. flourecent lights on a total of about 20 plants. Keeping the lights about 2-3inches off the top of them. When i pick the pots up to see how heavy they are, it's like pickin up a feather(really light-weight).The soil starts to pull from sides of pots and cracking along top surface, that's when i water
i have a ph tester and tested the soil and it stays steady around 6.5-7 this is my first grow, so it's gonna be experiment to get it right.
