what causes leaves to DROOP?!?!?! i cant figure this out for the life of me..........temp is constant, humidity is constant, watering hasn't changed......... not a CLUE as to why the leaves just dont want to perk up!
You are over-watering. Wait for the soil to be bone dry (sticking a finger about 2 inches into the soil to locate moisture), then saturate fully with drainage under the pots. When the soil is dry again, rewater. Roots need oxygen. Constantly keeping them watered causes them to droop as such.
yeah definitely over watering, IIRC the leaves act as a kind of reservoir of water, too much water and the leaves become too heavy and droop and will not absorb enough light.
BTW.. I actually like your use of CFL's and how they are positioned. I've subscribed, and would love to see the plants after a few days of not watering to see when they perk up.
