Dro?

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by Foo20, Mar 15, 2011.

  1. I hear the title so many places it doesnt even sound great anymore. But I've heard that its not a strain or really a type I heard that its just a name refering to weed that was grown using hydroponics, and a name people throw on there weed to make it sell better. Am I right or is it a real strain? Or is it like a class of weed like Kush is because there is not just kush theres Purple Kush, Cali Kush, Etc?

  2. That's right, dro is short for hydroponics, which is a type of indoor growing system. It's not a strain.

  3. 100% right Op

I hate when people throw around the word dro and they dont even know what it means

  4. So it's just a shorter word for hydroponics, so it is like a type of weed like a classification? But its not a strain.

  5. Yup, just means it was grown without soil, pretty much.

errrybody kno me in tha club becawh dey smokin me..

  7. Most people use the word dro to describe beasters, but that's incorrect.

  8. yep dro is short for hydroponics but in a lot of places it's now just synonymous for 'good weed', just like kush is thrown around in the same way.

  9. Whenever I smoke 'Dro' it's still good, so I'm not complaining.

  10. buds can also be trimmed sometimes to resemble one or the other.. I guarantee you that anyone calling shit "dro" would be easily tricked if someone trimmed shit up a certain way..

i hate the term "dro"... its white trash imo

  11. Yes, but buds grown with hyrdoponics tend to be taken care of nicely. It just makes the bud sound more apealing.
