Driving on the interstate of life

  1. I realized life is like driving on an interstate. Your soul is the car, driving across the interstate of life. All of the street signs are fate. They tell you where to go, what to do...they are your guidance in life. Sometimes, there are difficult decisions in life. It's those times that are like driving, knowing there's a split in the interstate ahead...something important...but you can't see the sign. There's a bridge, an overpass, in the way of the sign. You only get a brief glance of the sign right as you pass under the bridge. I think it is this that brings truth to the phrase, "Cross that bridge when we get there". Of course, there are times in life where we go the wrong way, take the wrong path. That decision, bad as it is, is easily reversed by simply reading more signs ahead. Eventually, you'll be back on course. And finally, those times you are injured? Easy. Road construction. You slow down for a bit, follow the signs even more closely, and let the "workers" do their work.

  4. lol, I was really stoned while driving on the interstate yesterday, which is where that came from. By the time I got here to type it, I was pretty much slightly buzzed.
    Good high.

I still think, as XZit does, and as I originally posted, life is like driving. Stoned or not, I think it makes sense. ;)
