I'm thinking of going to drip system. I will be running 9 1gal.drippers in (9) 3gal. pots.What size pump would be good? How long should I run the pump when the light are on? Would a good hydro fertilizer work.
it sounds like you are trying to do a cross between hydro and soil. my biggest concern would be over watering. When using soil it will hold more water than the plants can use so you would have to let them dry between waterings. I think that would be hard to control with a drip system. If you are planting in soil I think you would be better off using a fertilizer made for soil. I was really hoping that someone that grows in soil would have stepped up and helped. I do all hydro and have not done much with soil. I think you would have had better luck putting this in the indoor growers section.
