System : Drip (15m 2x a day) Temp : 80 pH : 5.8-6.2 Light : 90w ufo LED Triband nute : 3 part gen hydro full strength Age: 3 weeks Medium: 3 inch rockwool cubes rh:unknown So im running a drip system and I just got these plants growing good again. last problem i had was them out growing the rockwool cubes and the roots not growing more than a half inch out of it. i fixed it by getting a bigger rockwool cube and putting it in there. now im seeing the roots looking like they'll turn out the same here. any ideas/ suggestions on what i should be doing with the 3" cubes? should they be right on the bottum of the tray? should i leave a quarter inch of water at the bottum for the roots? any suggestions would be welcomed. pics :
kept them in the water thinking the roots weren't getting enough water and now ones roots are turning more brown and pH is raising. should i give them a while without water like a day without watering? should i lower my watering cycle? the rockwool cubes are almost always drenched where i can squeeze out water. I have hygrozyme in the res but it doesn't seem to be stopping the browning of the roots. My nutes do turn the water reddish could it just be the roots are getting died(the roots look like they're dieing because the tips are most brown and almost shriveled looking)? Seriously clueless on what to do here any help would be appreciated as i've lost 2 crops in bubbleponics due to root rot.
