White widow at about 4 weeks of flower outdoor. One flower top burnt, removed. Then again today but different plant. Crisp to the touch so does not sound like bud rot, plus outdoor with plenty of breeze but HOT here last couple days into the 90's. Rest of crop looks fine. Have pics but don't see how to put them here.
so if I don't save a photo on the hard drive I can't move it here? I've copied it from email, but no way to paste in here. "more options" gave me none.
it's a button with an upside down v with a circle around it ..if not...Google it...you got this!! GFP Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
Gotta get the photo on the hard drive of the device you're uploading from. I've never had success with copy a and paste. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
I don't think he's on Tapatalk like us. He just might be on the actual website through a browser Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
I figured that...smart guy though..I hear Google might have some scattered info on how to post pics ..SMH. GFP Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
So there's the pic (above). It's not soft or mushy so I'm thinking it's not bud rot. The flower simply dried and died. with the leaves crisp. Breaking the flower open did not reveal any mold or spores. It was quite sticky so I set it out to dry. Happened once more the next day to another plant. Removed all signs immediately. Anybody know what's wrong? These plants flowered early, paused for a month, (did not re-veg) and then went on into full flowering after the equinox. Looks good now, probably three to five weeks from harvest. (started 3- 21) I'm hoping this diesease doesn't spread. There had been a heatwave here (90's) for a few days before this happened. Plants get PLENTY of all the good stuff, pampered in my back yard. ILGM seeds (white widow) and food. Thanks for the patience with me getting this pic here, and hopefully still around to proffer some advice.
grab a cheap 20 dollar microscope and examine the tops closely and carefully. to rule out mites (spider) and russet. GFP Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
That is strange bro. Definitely something stressing it the fuck out. You can do a spinosad feed. Buds are a point of respiration. Something has to be sucking on the sap or munching the roots. Let em suck on some nerve agent.
I did. Don't see anything. Surprised to see some amber trichomes though only on one cola and only 10%. No other buds have died these last few days so maybe I "nipped it in the bud"! I thought I would not get much from this first grow, but now they have flowered, foot long colas appeared where only a little pre flower was before and between four and eight per plant! When these girls pre=flowered in late May I thought all was lost. One reader here advised me to cut them down and start over. I'm glad now I didn't throw away the babies to save the bath water! if you're an experienced gardener like me yet with no 420 experience go for it. If you have successfully grown roses or tomatoes, you have the basic talents for 420, just alter your directions per cannabis specific fert's, and follow these pages for the tips. But, take all with a grain of salt. Look at how long the writer has been with the group and the meaning behind the ratings. There are some great minds here, willing to share their knowledge for the love of 420 and the satisfaction derived from creating your own medicine from scratch. "Give someone a nug today"!
I gave a root protection treatment when seedlings. Can this be done again and this late? No further buds have died like this save one (2) total. So I'm cruising along with my fingers crossed. Temps have leveled off at normal now 70's to low 80's. I'll post some pics soon..
OH NO! still happening and getting worse, Help! Each day a couple of terminal buds go soft turn brown and leaves from bright green to a dull sage. Dry but soft to the touch. Very Sticky. Have removed all of them as soon as found but at this rate I'm losing one or two terminal buds a day! Help me Please! First shot shows limp terminal bud. Last one shows dead bud best. Rest show area after removal of dead terminal bud. Thanks for the patience about getting pics here. I have looked through the high mag. spot in my glass, don't see any bugs, 50x 100 power scope is on the way. with Iphone attachment. Weather is good, food and water are fine (not too much) checked twice daily with meter) no rain. Stopped ex-foliating a week before so it shouldn't be from damp conditions. This is SoCal its dry here and in the 80's so not too hot. What could this be? I'll be out of business in three more weeks of this. (Losing three terminal buds a day) thanks gdub
Just went out to trim more off of dead spot and found this under! White lumps? eggs? what? I'm freaking out! Help!
man bugs are attacking that plant ...AND spreading the botrytis spores everywhere...at least that's want it looks like...tough call ...I know what I would do...but you prolly don't want to hear that...the real issue is that shit spreads and by the way it sounds losing 3 buds a day WTF other options for you have ...you need to isolate that one at least ...
