Dried out Coco

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Splonk, Jun 23, 2020.

  1. I think I jumped the gun with harvest and let the Coco dry out for 2 days.
Want to give them another few days to develop trichomes a bit more.
Would it be ok/necessary to give them some water for another couple of days after letting them dry out ? Thanks

  2. Why on earth would you let the coco dry out?

  5. I would go ahead and water it if you want to put anymore time into it before chop. I don't imagine its going to reject the watering or something

  6. Can you explain the reasoning behind this?

  7. I don't fully understand the reasoning and I'm not sure if it actually does anything because I've never tried it. I think the belief is that it starts the drying process and stresses the plant into somehow producing more THC. However much it actually works, I couldn't tell you

  8. Sounds like an old stoner myth......like hanging your plant upside down so the resin can flow into the buds......

  9. My last lot was only 2 white windows in coco. I'd heard about drought stress so decided to let one die in the pot.
They weren't clones so it's not conclusive but the one that died stank like nothin on earth. I can't say it got me any more stoned but the smell was a fuck load stronger.

  10. This how they looking now.I won't harm them if I re add plain water to buy another few days for trichomes to develop a bot more ? Thanks 20200623_133811.jpg

  12. It's quite possible that it's just an old stoner myth that the bud is any stronger. I'm sure it does cut back on drying time though seeing as it has less water to pull up
