    I started my glass collection with pipes, cheap china glass and junk, like most people. I have saved and worked my way to some very nice glass. What can I say about those older bongs the cheaper china ones? They really allow you to get that thick yellow smoke and really milk it up.

    From my experience less drag still equals a pretty big hit and gets you ripped but, I like that thick yellow smoke that destroys you.

    I just dont seem to get that from my high quality pieces, sure with no drag I can clear a bong instantly but still I'm not blowing out that satisfying thick ass smoke. My current setup for my daily toking piece is a ZoB flat disc 15'' 5mm thick with a ice catch slide. Maximum airflow virtually no drag what so ever. But I cant milk this beast.

    Anyone else prefer drag over no drag??? :confused:

    If your smoke is yellow, I don't think you're smoking weed.

    The only time I heard of yellow smoke is when people have some problems with carbon filters.


    As far as drag goes, it's just preference. Has nothing to do with the high.

    its all in how you hit it man; even with the least draggy piece on earth you could still milk it as much and for as long as you want if you just hit it right.

    Drag = harder to pull, i would think that an extremely draggy piece would be harder to milk and harder to blow a thick cloud from because you have to use so much more lung power to get anything out of it.

    but if you REALLY want your piece to be draggy, and you REALLY love stale smoke, just overkill it with ashcatchers, thing will turn into a drag monster

    Ive gotten plenty of yellow, dark brown hits, from both a carbon filter and non carbon filter lol.... It was definetly weed :laughing:
    Just means your milking it fat and you got good suction going on.

    I hate those hits though... They r so painful and taste like shiiiitt.

    I wouldn't say its satisfying I like hits to be nice and smooth no drag no stale ass smoke from milking it

    Yes dark brown. the dark brown hits are not "good" tasting at all... They taste like shit and hurt like crazy.

    Ok let me better explain, with no drag the smoke makes to to my mouth and into my lungs pretty fast.

    With drag it sort of gathers in the bottom and slowly comes up, The best way to describe would be the smoke is denser.

    I dont know if this has to do with drag or the type of bong?

    yeah when the smoke is that dense in the tube it reallys fucks the flavor up, all you can taste is the combustion by-products. I'd rather take 3 nice, all white-smoke rips. Dense enough to be fully opaque but not on the verge of yellowing.

    Or the worst is when your bong is milking super slow, and the smoke rises so slow up the tube that its nasty yellow/brown at the bottom, and when you don't notice you milk it to the top like usual, then clear it and proceed to die, drool, and have a gross taste in your mouth, woohoo!

    Hahah Ive never been a cougher. My smoking nickname is Ironlungs lol :smoke: my buddy has a 1.3g slide packed and I could clear it without a single cough

    its all about how you hit your piece, i can get just as yellow and milky hits from my zob showerhead bubbler as my bros double perc'd beaker. To others yes the smoke can be yellow. That means theres a lotta smoke in there or what some refer to as a Phat Hit lol
