DP's Bug-Photo Thread

So instead of posting a brand new thread for every photo I take... I'm just going to create this thread and bump it w/ pics as they come along.

Here are a couple of pics I've taken in the past few days.

Best picture I could get for the distance and angle at which I had to take the shot (this is perched in a web-tunnel built into the corner of one of my window-air conditioners and won't come out for anything if I'm remotely near it)






Spider I just happen to see scurrying through the mulch. Once again, not the best that could have been done if I'd seen it earlier before it made a run for the rocks.

There are some creepy things that chill around my yard.

When all else has gotten boring - it's time to go bug hunting.

 

Got a better pic of the large (female, I believe) Grass spider that's made it's home in my air conditioner...






And here is another grass spider that has weaved it's home onto my non-used gatelatch not too far from the grass spider above.^^^

Don't worry. There are fine men and woman out there that hold the line between nature and humanity.

We call these people Pest Control Specialists (Exterminators ).
