Hey guys, hoping somebody can help me out here. I am going to order the Alex K showerhead but have a problem when it comes to the length. The SYN 50x5 TALL straight tube I will be ordering comes with a 4.25" downstem, whereas Alex K stems only come in 4", 4.5", etc. Should I order the 4" or 4.5"? The straight base diameter is 4.5", so am I right in assuming that I couldn't order the 4.5" stem? They can't be the same length, can they? But then I'm afraid the 4.0" would be too short since SYN includes a 4.25" stem with the bong which I assume is the perfect length for that bong? Can somebody help me out please, I'd really appreciate it. I can't order until I can clear this up :/ All I need really is someone else who ordered the SYN TALL 50x5 straight to tell me what size stem they needed. What is even more confusing is that on ALT, the same bong but with a platinum sticker/logo is showing a base diameter of 5" and the downstem as 4.5"! How freakin' confusing is that?! Jees! Same tube, different logo color, yet different base diameter and stem length. Can somebody confirm what the actual size is on this tube?! Thank you so much guys.
This. Your way over thinking it. Make about a 1/4 inch between your fingers... add that much more water and buy the 4"
Thanks guys. I went with the SYN Tall 50x5 Platinum, which has a 4.5" downstem. So ordering my Alex K wasn't a problem then. Now the waiting ahhhhh
