Downside to continuous cloning from fem. Seed

  1. Is there a downside to cloning off of a mother plant that was from a fem. seed?

  2. Not really. Just the general predisposition of all feminized strains to slight Hermi.
Mostly an outcome of the feminization forcing.
If your plant shows no signs of it clone away.

  3. Back in the day I had clones of clones of clones that went season after season without any loss of vigor. Search around the internet and you'll find old school growers in Cali who've had clones from the same mothers going for decades. As long as it's a healthy plant to start with it should continue to be if you treat her right.

  4. It used to be said by some people that a strain had to be "freshened up" with new seeds after a long time of cloning but I have seen no evidence of this and like that last post says many growers have been working with the same clone for decades. They still grow great.
