Downside-ish side of using a vaporizer

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by ArborVan37, Jun 4, 2009.

  1. Ever since I have gotten a vaporizer, I vape wayyyyy more than I ever smoked.
When i would smoke I would basically always get like zone-locked and I would get hella paranoid.
But while vaping, I am more energetic, less paranoid, and it just tastes awesome.
Instead of smoking like 2-4 times a week (typically on weekends) , I have been smokin everyday!
Vaping saves weed, but I do it more often... so i guess it equals out?

Im not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing?

  2. we cant talk for you my friend, is it a good thing or a bad thing? You tell us.

  3. Im guessing you have a whip style unit.

I had the same problem. The problem is concentrarion.. It is hard to get enough concentrated to keep you away for a while. I got a bag unit and now i dont have to vape so much anymore. I can do 3x the amount of a whip session in a bag or two and be on my way and be good for 3-5 hrs..

  4. The only downside for me, is not having a vape. It's on the list of shit to buy!

  5. yea when i picked up my vape i assumed that i would consistently slow my smoking, but i notice that it has stayed about the same. for me, a vape is definitely a necessity, but could not only vape exclusively. i love my glass and love smoking so naturally smoking is my method of choice, but a vaporizer is an amazing thing to have.

word my friend. Dox, grab yourself a vape asap. it is a great way to enjoy the mary jane.

  6. Depends on the vape. Some vapes are sooooo efficient, that it would be damn impossible to equal out.

  7. I don't know. I smoked out of a vape once. The high felt kinda awkward, I'm used to a more subdued, mellow high like you're an icicle tanning, but smoking though a vape just makes you feel like a daisy, sprouting. You know what I mean?

Maybe when I get a bit more seasoned and need a stronger method than a bong then I'll buy one, but I guess I'll stick to the old fashion way and smoke.

  8. haha! same bro!

  9. I'm still behind on the vape game, to much sick glass.

I do love vaping though, and it's an awesome way to really enjoy the flavor of your nug.

I'd say if you can smoke more on the same amount it's a damn good thing man. Keep on vaping.

  10. Vaping is awesome. It's all I do anymore. I haven't smoked since I started vaping 6 months ago.

Only downside is it takes longer to get everything set up. I can't keep my vape out in the open, so there is a little "construction" period, but it is very worth it :smoke:

  11. haha same here man, i finally putting my vape away, i just keep it on my nightstand turned on low all day. yum im getting ready to extract some vapor honey :)

  12. Nice

I need to start saving my vaped Cannabis...that sounds good :D

  13. what's the best vape to buy? Probably the volcano, but its like 500 dollars! Any other ones out there?

There is no one best vape. Lots of good ones out there. Depends on how you plan on using it and what your priorities are:
    Personal vape
    Party vape
    High efficiency
Super bong like lung splitting vapor hits at the cost of lower efficiency.
    Whip based vapes.
    Bag based vapes
    Combo vapes.
    Portability.
    Stealth factor.

The 'Cano is only best in two of those categories and no vape is best in all.

  15. The volcano is definitely not the best vaporizer to buy. Research around. Go on fuckcombustion.com and do a little fidddling there. My personal favorites are the vaporgenie and da buddha.

  16. I recently acquired a Volcano on loan from a friend... I really can't get used to it. I prefer a nice glass ROOR or my giant steamroller a lot more.

  17. Volcano is of course the best vape on the market, but if you don't have $500+ to spend, I would definitely recomend Da Buddha. It is made by 7th floor, the same people that make the SSV. Both wonderful products. I have had my Da Buddha for 6 months now and I absolutely love it :D

It's about $160, before shipping. Well worth it!
