Hey blades, just looking for input or suggestions. So I have my 4'x8' tent with 8 girls in there. Currently I just have 1 1000w centered above all 8 of them. (And they are a little too close in my opinion.) My buddy just gave me his extra 1000w, and I am just curious, does anyone really think that will double my yield? I'm sure it will help, but as far as doubling up(as everyone has been telling me), I am skeptical. My plan tonight is to center each 1000w over a 4'x4' area and spread the plants apart as much as possible. Should I be expecting a pretty big difference here? All the plants have been topped multiple times, and a heavy amount of LST was used as well. Thanks for any input guys
Nice canapy! It will help for sure. Looks like your ready for more shine. Healthy looking bunch of bitches! With a double up you could get more from 5 or 6 with space instead of cramming in 8. Just a thought...rock on
Thanks for the input man. Yea I am so excited to get off work and get that light installed. I agree with the smaller amount of plants having more room to flourish, just grew out a few more in case something goes wrong with one or two of them. Last time only 5 of my 8 produced anything substantial. I'll put some pics up after I get the second light hanging. Peace...
Yeah definitely hang the second light. a 1000w is really only good for a 4x4 space. so I wouldn't suggest less than two of them unless you only planned to use half the tent. which, with 8 plants probably wouldn't really be possible
Right on, I'm convinced. Not worried about heat either, my inline fan hasn't even been running at half capacity. Thanks for the input guys
Thanks a lot. Here we go, was able to get the second light up right before lights out. Gonna have to monitor the temp pretty closely for the next few days but I think it will be fine. This added some much needed space between the plants
