double your yield

    A thick layer of mulch on your soil condenses water and holds moisture, this simple task can double your yield.
    -is it necessary to do this if moisture loss isn't the problem due to high water table?

    double your yield my ass...

    it may help conserve moisture, but there are other ways to do the same.
