Double chambered pieces

  1. My birthday is coming up on thanksgiving and I was looking to invest in a double chambered piece around $400. Originally i wanted to pick up one of Apix Designs double chambers but found out they don't ship to PA. I've been checking around and the best 2 pieces I've found are:

    1. Dirty Rico Stemless circ to 10 arm straight 16"

    $400

I really like the style and the logo but doesnt the stemless joint look a little janky or is it just me? Comes with a 4 hole slide. Anybody familiar with Dirty Rico's stuff?

    2. Vertigo Stemless 10 arm to shower head 16"

    $360

I really don't like the logo on this at all but the work looks clean. I haven't heard much at all about Vertigo though. It comes with a 6 hole slide as well which is nice.

If there's any other pieces that are double chambered in that price range let me know. Any advice you guys can give me is appreciated.

  2. Get the dirty Rico. all of dirtys work shits on all of vertigo
The apocoline looks more appealing... Wouldn't recommend a straight tube for anything now but the mini... Still takes massive ripps

  3. Well, that shows just how overpriced *** is.

That exact tube can be had for 310 from NVS (the Dirty Rico).

  4. I was planning on calling NVS glassworks today to find out :p. I got my Goldstein from them for almost 50 bucks cheaper exact same thing then what *** had it for.

  5. I was there this last weekend and be had a bunch of Dirty Rico and Vertigos.

I agree with you, I kinda hate the vertigo logo, but it's great looking glass.
Rico is great looking too, but I have seen a piece here or there with spots that look like they were overlooked when being flame polished. Not a deal breaker if the function is there but just something I noticed.

  6. Yeah I called NVS. They had just sold a few Dirty Ricos but the only double they had was the the circ to 10 arm.

The guy recommended a double chambered MGW over the Rico though.

The 2012 BC double chambered pieces are looking nice too but that would run me $500ish even with a black friday discount. If you guys think one of those would the extra worth the extra cash let me know.

  7. Yeah he was showing me the MGW pieces while I was there but I was after a single not a double and ended up buying a DG fritted disc. For what it's worth those MGW tubes look super solid and are priced awesome. I'm pretty sure he showed me an inline to 8 arm and I want to say it was 230. I was damn! Where was this when I was buying my first bong lol.

  8. That's where I got my DG too! I'm not a big fan of inlines but I was maybe looking at a shower head to circ

  9. I'm not 100% about what it had for the first perc. I just remember seeing it had a tree perc and automatically thinking "nope, I'm looking for a single"
But you could always look at the website and see what doubles they have.
I may also know of a little shop that may have the rico your looking for.
