Dosage Question

    Looking for a good recipe for edibles
    First I have an elevated tolerance for weed so I need to make my edibles stronger than normal.
    My plan is to cook 1 ounce of weed into 2 cups of coconut oil
    Is this considered weak or strong

    That's roughly 41mg THC per teaspoon.

    I do know 7 grams per cup of coconut had no real effect on me

    I think you're making weak oil, even at 41 mg/tsp. I don't want to have to consume two teaspoons of coconut oil, but rather one or two capsules the same strength. Too much oil will mess with my digestion.

    I use 2/3 cup of coconut oil for 1/2 oz. of flower.

    Hello.,I make peanut"budder" that is similar to infusing oil since pb is mostly oil.,My recipe is 1 gram of bud for every ounce of pb.,This gives me aprox. 75mg. per table spoon.,To make it stronger increase the ratio

    i just made oil with 1 ounce of good bud 3 cups of canola oil and made brownies they are decent but not overwhelming and i have a high tolerance SO my answer is that sounds like a good amount How do you plan on making this oil?

    It may be better to think in terms of teaspoons and tablespoons instead of cups
    An ethanol extraction and reduction into oil will allow more milligrams into less oil for dosing
    Easier to adapt to recipes if you are adding a teaspoon rather than a half cup of oil or butter

    This is what I was thinking myself.,If you make FECO you can infuse the oil with it and get a much more potent product.,Or try Brass an Wood's method for hash caps.,

    NO OIL here alcohol & bud only. Alcohol can be reduced increasing the potency, oil cannot. Oil is a poor choice for sub lingual (under tongue) and is also slower to absorb. Oil may taste better & be easier to use for edibles/cooking IDK, you have to digest edibles & they take longer to feel the thc. IMO whatever blows your skirt up. :ladiegaga:
