    I just wanted to know who else was into all the riffage.
    Sleep, Electric Wizard, Saint Vitus, Om, Bongzilla, Weedeater, Kyuss, Pentagram, Black Sabbath, anything along those lines! It's some awesome stuff if you guys don't know about it, best shit to blaze to! Here's a very prominent doom song:

    Nile and Ulver are not even remotely close to doom metal.

    I listen to doom thats more on the stoner side..... Acid King, Ancestors, Black Pyramid, Electric Wizard, Giant Squid (not all doom, but has doom elements), Om, Sleep, ect...

    haha im not even sure if they are underrated, its just that nobody fuckin knows about them lol. they are one of the most unique bands ive heard in a long time. so good

    I remember when this stuff was the only "Doom" metal we knew of......
    It's good to see metal still around after all these years. And music from bands like Sabbath, Purple, Priest, Maiden, AC/DC, etc, all stand the test of time in my opinion.
