Don't trust Paul Ryan

Discussion in 'Cannabis News & Industry Updates' started by shakenbyfear42, Sep 9, 2012.

1. The republican nominee Paul Ryan wants to leave medical marijuana laws up to the states. This statement that was made closer to voting day is a gimmick to drawl what ever votes they can get. In the end Romney is totally against legal cannabis in any way. Romney will not let state laws ride either and would most likely ruin a lot of hard work that's been done. Don't let this comment from Paul Ryan sway you for his vote. These two will demolish medical marijuana in their first and second year as president and vice president. Don't trust mitt Romney or Paul Ryan, don't do it!

2. I already don't, not with their voting records. And considering what Obama's already said about not cracking down on state dispensaries, while the DEA just made its biggest crack down on a state dispensary this past year, I don't trust him either. I'm writing in my candidate. Piss poor state we're in - I got too far into politics in the past 8 years. It's all bullshit these days.

3. Well good ol obama said he would stop attacking mmj and its patients, and we all know how that is. Funding for the dea is higher than ever, and people still believe it when he says he will stop the persecution. Ryan and romney in all honesty would prob do nothing to mmj, they do not really seem like they give a legitimate shit about it, romney might ban it if people keep asken him about it lol. All in all, they are politicians in the two major parties, they will say whatever gets them votes

4. Jill or Gary :)

5. that was all bullshit. He's trying to sound like his pro MMj, but he's a conservative, how is he going to be pro MMj...just another lie by a politician.

But, they should leave it to the states. Cali legalized it in 1996, the only ones causing issues is the DEA and federal gov. If they leave it to the states, the DEA won't be able to get involved, but they still will as we all know.

6. etch-a-sketch politics

the only reason he said that is because he was being interviewed by a radio station in Colorado.

Romney/Ryan are all about lyin'

7. Ron Paul the president America never had.

8. I don't know WHY you guys keep on talking about ombney .......
Just vote Gary johnson
Ron Paul the president America never had.
I actually had a tear that ron Paul won't get to be my leader .......

9. "I told you."

Never before have I felt three small words coming from a single man would so drastically affect the idea of a sound future for myself and my family.

As a Nation, We aren't listening.

10. Neither our president or Romney/Ryan favor mmj, so I wouldn't hinge your vote on that

11. I think we will see a change in Obama, some what, on how he handles medical cannabis. I believe he will lower if not stop the raids of dispensaries going on right now. It is election time and he needs his votes this is not a shoe-in for him. Even though it should be when your running against a force feed follower. Obama in his second term I think he is going to be more productive and hopefully show us true human values; we'll see.

12. How does being conservative make you anti-medical marijuana?! Ron Paul is one of the most conservative politicians and he favors decriminalizing marijuana (among other drugs)!! I love it when people talk with their foot in their own mouth. ;)

13. what has he said or done that makes you think such a thing?

14. Its saps like you who put these fucks in office. Romney is a mormon and will do everything in his power to keep MJ illegal. He cares about it. In a bad way.

Back off man. Why wouldn't that be the case? Why would romney care at all? how is it in his benefit? Btw. I'm not voting for romney or obama.

16. Lobbyists give money to politicians so said folks support their views when it comes time to vote. This is why we currently have subsidized oil companies in the US - a third of the taxes paid on gasoline are paid back to the companies selling the refined product. The same thing happens with pharmaceutical companies because, as a living thing, cannabis can't be patented. It's hard to make money off of something you don't have the sole rights to create and reproduce, so there's a good chance pharmaceutical lobbyists will throw in some money to keep medical MJ from being legalized just because they'll make little to no money on it as a medication. This could be why Romney doesn't support it and would indeed benefit from it being illegal.

17. yup.. here he is "not giving a shit about it"

18. Dude Romney would call the police if he even smelt a hint of weed on the entire neighborhood. He would rather give a sick man, drugs made by the government who want to make a profit then take a plant that's ben around for thousands of years that has no bad side effects and was not artificially created.
