Ok if you clipped fan leaves at this early of a growth stage, it will slow down the growth substantially. Fan leaves are like solar panels for growth. The more, the faster.
I haven't clipped anything in weeks, when I first got them, I did cut some dead leaves off of them... They were curled and yellow, also had an issue at the start where some of my leaves turned black, and crispy. It was bizzare almost like black mold but not hard to explain. And the stretching... I have them nutrients for the first time about two weeks ago, and they shot up like crazy! One sprouted almost three inches.... In 18 hours!
