Starting my first grow. Not really sure if I want to really get into this, but figured it would be a good hobby. I started with some bag seed. Got 4 pots in the closet and using a 48" flourescent light right now. They are growing good. All seem healthy to me. 3.5 weeks into the grow. My dilemma is that I don't know if any of the 4 plants I have are females. I would like to take some clones off of these guys in case I wanted to try this again. What should I do? Wait for them to show their sex and take some clones, or take clones of all of them and throw away the male clones after the plant has shown it's sex? I would like to wait until I know which ones are female, but am pretty clueless. Any info someone can give me would be appreciated.
yeah sure wait until they show u their sex, u dont wanna clone males unless u have in mind something else like breed......

I'd just let them veg until they show preflowers, then ditch the males. I never try to force them into flower, always wait until they're sexually mature, with alternating nodes and preflowers, then I flip to 12/12. Why would you clone bagseed though? Watch for the specials on Attitude, last June I got 8 different strains as freebies with my order and I still haven't gone through all of them. It's a great hobby, lots of fun
