  1. The Continental explores the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he's dragged into the hell-scape of 1970's New York City to face a past he thought he'd left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel's mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his throne.

The Continental is a relatively short series containing 3 episodes, but these episodes are about 1 hour 40 minutes long. The story progression through this time goes at a steady pace and introduces the characters well, these characters help move the story forward and provide the action for this series.

Speaking of action, I found that the action was slow going at first (unlike the movie counterparts) but as the series progressed the action got bigger and bolder until the story and angst were resolved at the end. Again, the characters were very interesting to watch as they were all different to each other which helped move the story forward.

Stoner Value -High (left fans gasping for more but only 3 parts)

  2. See it as the early story of John Wick, as the movies are all action and they forgot about content and form ...lol
